Investiture Ceremony of Bharat Scouts and Guides at NEMS

 

 

   The Investiture Ceremony of the Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) was held with great enthusiasm at the NEMS School campus on Saturday, 20th September 2025. The ceremony was organized for the students of Standard 5 from both the morning and afternoon shifts.

   The program began with the solemn Scout Prayer, *"Daya Kar Daan Bhakti Ka"*, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. The highlight of the event was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where students received their *Pravesh* Badges and Scarves. The oath was administered by the Patrol Leaders of each troop.

   The badges and scarves were presented by the Chief Guest, Mr. Preetam Joshi, Headmaster of the Secondary Section, NEMS. The event was also graced by the Guest, Mr. Anil Dandekar, former teacher of NMV School, who delivered an inspiring speech that motivated the students to embody the principles of responsibility, discipline, and service.

   Alongside the BSG investiture, the Student Council Investiture Ceremony for Standard 7 was also conducted. Badges were conferred to the council members according to their designated roles and responsibilities.

   The program was smoothly compered by Mrs. Jyoti Kurkelli. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Manali Shah, expressing gratitude to the guests, staff, and students for making the event a grand success. The Scout Masters, Mr. Pramod Ukirde and Mr. Devidas Wakale, played a vital role in organizing and guiding the ceremony.

Smt. Hemangi Deshmukh, Headmistress of NEMS, felicitated the guests and appreciated their continued support and encouragement to the school community.

The ceremony was a proud and memorable occasion, marking a significant milestone in the journey of leadership, dedication, and service for the newly inducted Scouts, Guides, and Student Council members.
