The first day of the new academic year at Deccan Education Society's D.E.S. School was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and the promise of new beginning.
Our students were welcomed with a vibrant traditional reception, accompanied by the energetic beats of Dhol-Tasha, creating an atmosphere of celebration and pride by the school's HM’s Archana Dhanawade (Primary section), Vijaya Joshi (Secondary section), Vice-H.M. Laxmi Malepati, along with supervisors Mrs. Gracia D'Souza, Mrs. Simran Gujar, Mrs. Radha Ketkar and Mrs. Kajal Sharma. The occasion was marked by the presence of the entire teaching and non-teaching staff. A red carpet was laid out for the students, and their entry into the school was made more joyous, making students feel comfortable and eager to start the new academic year. The school community then sought the divine blessings of Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, by offering prayers, marking the auspicious beginning of another year of learning and growth. The school was kept ready, neat and clean by support staff and beautifully decorated by all teachers. This warm welcome is sure to leave a lasting impression on the students' minds! Engaging activities in class helped students get to know each other and their teacher better.
